Eli Lainhart, VP of Information Technology, Medina Healthcare System

Eli Lainhart brings more than a decade of experience in the health IT space to his current role as Vice President of IT at Medina Healthcare System in Hondo, Texas. Lainhart is dedicated to enhancing patient care, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring regulatory compliance by leveraging transformative technology and spearheading progressive IT initiatives. Before serving in his current role, Lainhart was the Chief Information Officer at Star Valley Health, where he successfully led their MEDITECH EHR project, completing the implementation on time and under budget. He has since been able to maximize his impact at Medina Healthcare System by tapping into his expertise gained from his previous MEDITECH implementation experience. Lainhart holds a Master’s Degree in Cyber Security and Information Assurance from Southern Utah University, and continues to advocate for cyber security best practices and the need for seamless integration of new technologies into providers’ workflows.
