When I go to MEDITECH LIVE each year, I'm really excited to connect with other leaders in the MEDITECH community, and I always leave feeling super charged by everything I learned over those three days. I've noticed we're often wrestling with similar problems, and MEDITECH LIVE creates the perfect space for relaxed yet energizing conversations and swapping ideas.
Having attended and presented at MEDITECH LIVE multiple times, I'm eager to join a main stage panel this year to discuss strategies for enhancing the physician and nurse experience. As always, MEDITECH LIVE will be held in the impressive “in the round” auditorium at MEDITECH’s Foxborough campus, September 17-19. The lively discussions at this event help us reimagine how we can support clinicians, embrace the latest advancements in technology, optimize our investments, and — most importantly — provide the best patient care possible.
The keynotes at MEDITECH LIVE are truly can't-miss sessions, and I always leave feeling incredibly inspired and excited to tackle my job with newfound creativity. Last year, Zack Kass explored the possibilities of AI, and this year, MEDITECH is bringing us another incredibly engaging presenter: Duncan Wardle, the former head of Innovation and Creativity at Disney. Having spearheaded innovation across Disney Parks, Marvel, Lucasfilm, Pixar, Imagineering, and Animation, Wardle is uniquely positioned to share his expertise in fostering truly disruptive thinking and groundbreaking ideas. It will be interesting to hear how we can apply Disney-level creativity to the complex healthcare problems that we all face. I'm confident this will be a great opportunity to gain insights into how we can leverage technology for human-centric innovation in healthcare. After these inspiring keynote speakers, I always return to work with a fresh perspective and invigorated spirit.
Most importantly, MEDITECH LIVE offers me the opportunity to connect with other leaders in my field, all under one roof, to discover what is and isn’t working to solve the industry challenges we are all facing. While the educational sessions at MEDITECH LIVE are informative and extremely valuable, it is the direct conversations I get to have with my peers and the team at MEDITECH that result in some of the best takeaways. These connections are fostered at MEDITECH LIVE, but continue long after the final session has ended.
And let's not forget the opportunity to unwind with fellow attendees! Last year's “MEDITECH Huddle” at Gillette Stadium was simply fantastic — it was such a fun and relaxed atmosphere for networking, complete with delicious food, festive cocktails that hit just the right note, and lively music that really set the mood. I was thrilled to hear this year’s event will bring us to the same venue. Oh, and you absolutely have to make time to visit the Gillette Stadium Lighthouse, where you’ll get an impressive panoramic view of Boston and Providence!
I hope to see you at MEDITECH LIVE September 17-19. Register today and book your hotel as soon as possible before they sell out!
