Roosevelt General Hospital highlights financial success strategies with Becker’s Healthcare

Roosevelt General Hospital (RGH) was recently featured in Becker's Healthcare for its dedication to achieving fiscal sustainability. This article highlights how RGH has utilized technology, process optimization, and cost reduction strategies to enhance its financial performance, such as reducing their number of AR days, and maintain staff retention. A key strategy shared by RGH is the implementation of MEDITECH as a Service (MaaS), which is a cloud-hosted subscription model of the Expanse platform. This transition has led to a decrease in costs related to IT onsite equipment and enabled the hospital to support remote staff, a crucial factor in retaining employees.

St. Joseph’s/Candler Health System on rolling out Expanse Oncology 

Nolan Hennessee, CIO and Vice President at St. Joseph’s/Candler Health System, appeared on the CIO Podcast hosted by Healthcare IT Today to talk about leveraging MEDITECH Expanse in his organization.
