The future of care delivery [Video]

What’s next for healthcare technology and nurses? This year at HIMSS19 MEDITECH’s Associate Vice President, Cathy Turner, BSN, MBA, RN BC, spoke with Patient Orator about the evolution of healthcare technology.

Early in her career as a nurse, Cathy caught the informatics bug and joined what would become the forefront of healthcare IT. Over the years, she has watched healthcare technology evolve into tools that support nurses at the bedside, evaluate data and analytics, and—most importantly—improve the patient experience.

As Cathy says, with the future of AI and virtual connections, we’re still “at the tip of the iceberg” of what we can do to support patient populations beyond the hospital walls. Watch Cathy’s full interview above.
